Rui was born in Angola, Africa and moved to California at the age of four where he spent most of his early life. Rui and his high school sweetheart, and now wife Stacy, were radically saved two weeks apart in May of 1998 and immediately began to serve at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Southern California under the leadership of Greg Laurie, until God put a call on their lives to move to the greater Dallas area in June of 2005.  Rui had a life changing visitation from the Lord Jesus Christ in May of 2006 that profoundly shifted his focus and passion to a life of intercessory prayer, fasting, historical revival, and a deep study of God’s word, especially God’s end time plan. Rui under a urgent mandate from heaven to mobilize the church to pray, began all night prayer meetings in his home in August 2006 where God would eventually call him and Stacy to birth Kings House in 2013 where they have been making disciples in the context of day and night prayer and worship. Rui has had many open doors to travel internationally ministering In India to persecuted pastors, partnering with an orphanage to plant a church in the Philippines, and  mobilizing prayer in Jerusalem, and the Middle East. Rui has a deep love for Israel and the Jewish people and carries a strong calling to help the church understand God's purposes for Israel. He carries a consuming passion for the Presence of God and to call forth, disciple, and equip, end time gospel messengers that will help prepare the church for the return of Jesus. Rui and Stacy have four children, Liliana, Leila, Elijah, and Elaina.
